BelitongToday, Tanjungpandan – A hundred MSME participants participated in the 2023 Gemawira Bazaar which was held at the Tanjung Pendam Tourism Beach on Wednesday (4/1) afternoon.
“The number of participants who contributed to the Gemawira Bazaar totaled 100 participants,” said the Regent of Belitung, Sahani Saleh when delivering his remarks during the opening of the event, Wednesday (1/4) afternoon.
Hundreds of participants took part in the independent bazaar, meaning that everything from tents to other equipment was prepared independently.
“The bazaar participants stand independently, meaning that they prepare everything individually,” he said.
Based on BelitongToday’s monitoring at the event location, the bazaar participants did not only sell food and drinks, but also crafts, ornamental plants, ornamental fish, and the lato-lato game which has been viral recently.
One of the bazaar participants, Alif, said that he felt the Gemawira Bazaar was very helpful in introducing MSME products.
“In my opinion, the bazaar held by Gemawira is very helpful in introducing MSME products to the public,” he explained.
Alif explained, running a business doesn’t always run smoothly, there must be twists and turns.
“As MSME actors, we must always be patient while continuing to innovate. If our passion is there, then run it,” he said.
He expected that participating in the Gemawira bazaar would increase his income.
“Hopefully at the Gemawira Bazaar, the sales of ornamental plants and the income of other MSME players can increase,” he hoped. (Dafit)
