BelitongToday, Tanjungpandan, – As many as seven development works in Belitung Regency in 2022 were inaugurated at the same time.
The inauguration ceremony for the implementation of the activity was held at the Belitung Regent’s official residence, on Friday (1/13) morning.
In his remarks, Belitung Regional Secretary MZ Hendra Caya said that this was a promise from the regent for five years to make Belitung more advanced.
There were seven developments that have been inaugurated including supporting infrastructure for the Belitung Regent’s Office, rehabilitation of the Regent’s Official Office House, Cendil Bridge, renovation and addition of the Membalong Health Center room, renovation of the Regional Health Laboratory Building, Perawas Health Center Building, and PSC 119 Building.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Belitung, Sahani Saleh, said that since 2014 they had tried to survive with the condition of the official residence, which is indeed the time to be renovated.
Sanem, as he is affectionately known, mentioned that there were lots of roofs that leak when it rains.
Sanem also admitted that he was grateful because the development program in 2022 had been implemented even though not all had been realized, including the regent’s official house which he said still featured a distinctive Malay architectural style.
“Hopefully with the new regent’s official residence, our performance will also be better,” concluded Sanem. (Mg1)
