Belitong Today, Tanjungpandan – The Belitung Regency Government launched the Boarding Pass Special Surprise (BOSS) program at the 4th anniversary of Sahani Saleh-Isyak Meirobie Regency Administration at the Satam Roundabout, Saturday (31/12).

According to Isyak Meirobie, BOSS’s philosophy is that all tourists who come to Belitung are “bosses” or people who must be served well and receive the best hospitality.

“Usually, boarding passes are just thrown away, they become plain paper. But now, there are many benefits to be gained,” said Isyak Meirobie to BelitongToday, after the launch.

So Isyak said, when tourists come to Belitung, their boarding pass will have value. In value, you can get discounts at hotels or shopping places for MSMEs and others.

“So from the beginning they had planned, right after the scan. From the momment they haven’t bought a ticket, they already know. Oh, I can get a 5 percent discount at Fairfield (Hotel Fairfield by Marriott). Then, where can I eat, where can I get a discount?” “Then I can shop at other MSMEs that offer discounts. They will do the math,” he explained.

Isyak explained, the way it works is to collaborate with all the potential that exists, will not harm MSMEs and hotels.

“They also need promotion costs, but we eliminate them. So, it’s included in their own costs. Those who manage, want 5%, 7%, or people eat, get free drinks later. People who can manage are those who are creative,” he added.

He added, for now there are 30 merchants participating in the BOSS program, both MSMEs and hotels and restaurants. The program goes into effect on January 1, 2023.

When you can use a boarding pass, of course it means that it doesn’t only apply to tourists, but also for local people. (Adoy)
