BelitongToday, Tanjungpandan – The Belitung’s parliamentary fraction encourages the use of changes in the 2024 Belitung Regional Budget to be dedicated to the welfare of the community.
“The PDI Perjuangan fraction encourages the use of a budget oriented towards the welfare of the community,” said the Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan Fraction of the Belitung DPRD, Vina Cristyn Ferani, Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
This was conveyed in the Belitung DPRD plenary session with the agenda of the final words of the Belitung DPRD fractions and decision making on the draft revision of the Belitung Regional Budget for the 2024 fiscal year.
The PDI Perjuangan fraction also encouraged that the budget allocation be carried out appropriately in accordance with the predetermined planning.
So that it can have a significant impact on improving people’s welfare and regional development goals.
Thus, there is a need for regular evaluation and strict monitoring to ensure that each budget allocation is in accordance with the established plan.
Vina added, the PDI-P fraction of the DPRD also emphasized the importance of stakeholder involvement in the Regional Budget evaluation process.
“So as to ensure that each program is truly in accordance with the needs of the community and regional development priorities,” she said.
On the other hand, said Vina, an effective feedback mechanism is also expected to increase the responsiveness of local governments to changing conditions and demands of the community.
“As well as improving the performance and results of each budget use,” she said.
Vina also asked the local government to prioritize the main ideas of the Belitung DPRD that were successfully collected and absorbed in recess activities.
“We emphasize the need for concrete steps to realize the aspirations of the people who have been conveyed because these aspirations are not mere delivery but things that must be followed up according to the needs of the community,” she concluded. (Nazriel)
