Meanwhile, the Head of the Belitung Regency Youth and Sports Department, Junaidi, said that the overall implementation of the Belitung Beach Run 5K event was a success.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful for the Belitung Beach Run 5K event, we think it went successfully and was supported by such good weather conditions,” he said.
He said his party was ready to follow up on the proposal submitted by the Regent of Belitung, Sahani Saleh so that the Belitung Beach Run event could be upgraded to a national and international level.
In the future, Belitung Beach Run 5K will also be held more lively.
“We will increase this event according to the direction of the Belitung Regent to become a national level in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism,” he said.
According to Junaidi, Belitung Beach Run 5K is not only aimed at attracting outstanding athletes but also to promote the potential for sport tourism owned by Belitung.
