She hopes that the 2022 Belitung Creative Bazaar would allow creative economy and tourism actors to be enthusiastic about selling their products for the sake of economic progress in Belitung.
“It is hoped that through this activity, we can accommodate creative economy and tourism actors so that they can return to their enthusiasm in selling products and advancing the economy in Belitung,” he said.
The number of participants of the 2022 Belitung Creative Bazaar are 150 booths, with details of 126 stands of culinary sub-sector and 24 stands of non-culinary sub-sector.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of Belitung, Isyak Meirobie, gave a speech and officially opened the event.
In his speech, Isyak explained about the economic potential, which in this case is about the consumptive culture of the Belitung people.
“The people of Belitung are people who are not prepared to be producers, we have always been consumers. If we have any money, our hands itch, our eyes itch, we have to go shopping if the money is not spent, they are not Belitung people,” he said.
