The fame of Belitung or also often called Belitong, is not only in Indonesia, but also towards foreign countries, such as having beautiful beaches with white sand, clear and blue sea, and eye-catching granite rock formations.
Belitung has officially gained the status as a UNESCO Global Geopark Area with its wealth, uniqueness, and characteristics of natural beauty. This, of course is a valuable capital in promoting Belitung tourism to “Go International”.
Recently, Belitung has also successfully held the G20 Development Ministerial Meeting (DMM-G20) on 7-9 September. This success, of course, directly or indirectly will further introduce Belitung in the eyes of the world.
