A: Alhamdulillah, in 2022 Belitung’s tourism condition began to rise again. Moreover, the implementation of the G20 Development Ministerial Meeting (DMM) was like being a Belitung tourism gong to bounce back. Fortunately, G20 DMM momentum increased tourist visits to Belitung extraordinarily and the condition has not subsided until now, the graph has remained the same until the last weeks. This is a bright light for Belitung tourism, we are optimistic that Belitung tourism will return to normal.
Q: Does that mean that Belitung’s tourism conditions have actually recovered and risen after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years?
A: Yes, that’s right, since G20 DMM meeting last month, flights have started to increase, this condition makes the number of tourists is increasing into Belitung.
