Apart from its mineral elements, Sanem explained that the natural wealth in Belitung also comes from its marine potential.
“Another potential is from seafood and the diversity of marine products. In Belitung, the seafood is guaranteed to be fresh as we are surrounded by the sea,” he explained.
The Regent also hoped that in the future, a cooperation will be established with countries attending the ISPO dialogue forum.
Meanwhile, the Director of Trade, Industry, Commodities, and Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Antonius Tri Yudiantoro, in his remarks thanked the warm welcome of the Belitung regional government.
“Expressing our appreciation and thanks profusely for the warm welcome eversince we landed at the airport, and tonight we are served with traditional dishes, truly extraordinary,” he said.
He hoped that ISPO implementation in Belitung can be linked to tourism elements.
“In the future we hope that ISPO implementation in Belitung is not only related to palm oil, but also related to tourism and other activities,” he expected.
The event continued with the presentation of souvenirs by the Regent of Belitung to the Director of Trade, Industry, Commodities, and Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Antonius Tri Yudiantoro and closed with a group photo session. (Mg1)
